Souley Vegan

Description: Souley Vegan was probably my first vegan dining experience. When I was first turning vegan my mom and I came here together. I remember ordering a combination plate because I wanted to try everything! I got BBQ tofu, yams, cornbread, and black eyed peas. After that I was hooked! My favorite entree which I originally tried a sample of at the Eat Real Festival is their Southern Fried Tofu Bowl. It is a wonderful combination of grits, fried tofu and okra gumbo- so amazingly good! I love their combination plates, great giant salads, yams are the bomb! On Sundays they serve brunch this is a must try! The blueberry pancakes are like perfection and literally melt in your mouth! The sweet potato waffles are so good add a side of cheese grits and house potatoes and you are good to go! Don'r forget to save room for dessert! They bake their own cake slices and sell them at the counter to go.

Highlights: Brunch is a must try hit it up early on the weekends. If you love grits and gumbo the Southern Fried Tofu Bowl is amazing! Love the cake especially the pralines slice.

Tips: Take a friend and share! Or take two friends and share! The more the merrier and the more menu items you can try! There are so many things on the menu that I want to try that I still haven;t because I always get the same ones I love lol. Parking can usually be found around the block and to the left.
