Bay Explorers

My vision is to inspire families of all backgrounds to explore, be present, and have fun with their children in the Bay Area.

I'm Baack!

Whoaaa! It's been a minute since I have pushed out a blog post! I looked and saw that my last blog post was in October- OMG that was seven months ago! Life has been keeping me very busy. We had our third daughter in August and trying to be attentive to all of our daughters while nurturing our youngest has been quite a challenge. That coupled with the fact that I am running an in-home daycare business has been quite tiresome.

I rise every morning around 5:30 or 6 to try and get some quiet exercise time in. By 7 we are waking up our oldest daughter for school, usually the baby is up by this time too. Trying to get myself and daughters ready for the day before we open our doors at 8:30 for our daycare clients is busy busy. We have multiples of children throughout the day and take field trips twice a week. We do lots of art, cooking, science, and play projects during the day. As if cleaning up after my own kids wasn't a lot try 8 of them! After the day is done I'm still momma to 3 beautiful and needy daughters, have to get dinner ready, and then cleaned up again for the next day of daycare. Sometimes I don't leave the kitchen until 9 at night. Which is just in time to put the baby down for bed. To say I'm exhausted at the end of the day is an understatement.

It's hard to think about sitting down to squeeze a blog piece in or update my poor neglected website after such a full day. Kids, cooking, cleaning, dog, exercise all seem to take precedent over what little time there is in the day. But no more! I will not neglect my passion for Bay Explorer.

Recently my family had the honor of going on vacation. Although going on weekend trips are fun and something I think I practice with regularity, there's nothing quite like going away for a whole week to actually make you feel relaxed & give you some time to clear your head.

While we were on vacation and I had some time to do some clear thinking I couldn't help but think about Bay Explorer and how much I missed blogging and how in need of an update my website was. So this is the first of many new blog posts and somehow I will find the strength to update my website which still says we are a family of four lol.

While I have your attention here are some upcoming Summer events I would like to share...
